Available Franchise Territories
We’re opening protected territories in a dozen states where homeowners are tired of national outfits that quote one price on the phone and another at the door. A Barrett & Sons territory means you get the name, the 90-Day Done Right Promise, and a brand Tom Barrett built since 1998 with his sons on the crew. First movers get the best counties before anyone else does. We’re not selling fifty territories in the same zip code. When your county is claimed, it’s claimed.
Open Markets
These states currently have open territory. A few of them are wide open because they’ve got exactly the kind of homeowners we serve: 50 to 70 years old, in small towns and exurbs, who’ve been burned once and will pay for a name they can verify.
- Texas – Exploding suburbs around Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, with older homes that need kitchens, baths, and roofs done right.
- Florida – Roofing demand never stops, and storm season keeps hardscape and window work steady year-round.
- California – ADU work is booming in Sacramento, the Inland Empire, and the Central Valley. Permits matter here more than anywhere.
- Georgia – Atlanta’s exurbs are full of 1970s ranches overdue for kitchens and windows.
- North Carolina – Retirees pouring into the Piedmont and coastal counties. They ask the same first question: are you actually local?
- Arizona – Pavers and driveways hold up in the heat, and seniors want a veteran discount and a real person on the phone.
- Tennessee – Nashville and Knoxville exurbs are growing fast, with older homes that need real remodeling, not facelift work.
- Ohio – Solid brick homes from the 1940s and 50s, and owners who value a written change order over a handshake.
- Pennsylvania – Philadelphia’s collar counties and the Lehigh Valley are full of century-old homes. Roofs and windows first, kitchens second.
- Colorado – Front Range growth from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. Snow and hail make roofing steady work.
- Washington – Puget Sound exurbs and the Inland Northwest. Rain means roofs and windows get done properly or they get done twice.
- Virginia – Richmond, Roanoke, and Hampton Roads. ADU demand is growing and the older housing stock needs real tradespeople.
How Territories Work
A Barrett & Sons territory is a protected area, not a suggestion. When you claim your counties, we don’t sell another Barrett & Sons territory inside them. You get the name, the trucks, the uniformed crews, the permits-pulled and inspections-signed standard, and the 90-Day Done Right Promise in writing on every contract. You also get the L.O.C.A.L. values that the brand has run on since 1998: Local roots, On time, Community first, Accountable, and Loyal. We’d rather keep a customer for twenty years than win one big ticket.
Territories are reserved by application and review, not by whoever clicks first. We look for owner-operators who will live in the territory, answer their own phone, and put their own name next to the Barrett & Sons name. Tom built this company with his sons on the crew, and the first question every prospect asks in our markets is whether anyone local is actually going to show up. So that’s the standard. If you’re not going to run into your customer at the hardware store on a Saturday, this isn’t the fit.
Once a territory is reserved, it’s off the board. We don’t stack multiple owners in the same counties, because that kills the trust the brand was built on. That means first movers get the best counties. It also means some markets will close faster than others, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
