• Gate won’t latch or drags on the hinge side. Usually means hinge screws have stripped in the vinyl post, or the post itself has started to rotate. Retrofitting a treated wood stiffener post inside the vinyl gate post is the permanent fix we use.
• Discoloration that won’t wash off. Los Angeles hard water plus direct sun bakes mineral deposits into untextured vinyl. It’s cosmetic, not structural, but on a CertaGrain panel you’ll never scrub it out once it sets. Replacement is the only real fix.
