Cambria Construction in Naples, CA | Barrett & Sons Construction

We provide independent Cambria quartz fabrication, installation, and repair across Naples, from Old Naples teardown-rebuilds to Pelican Bay condo remodels. What sets our Cambria work here apart is that we build for what Naples actually does to a countertop: hydrostatic slab movement, salt-air corrosion on mounting hardware, and Collier County’s post-Ian elevation documentation requirements. Call (877) 610-1318 for a straight answer on your project.

We’ve pulled, fabricated, and installed Cambria quartz in hundreds of Naples homes, which means we know which collections hold up under local conditions and which need extra substrate prep. Nobody at the factory signs off on our work. We’re an independent shop, owned by Tom Barrett and run with his sons on-site most days. That independence is why we can tell you the truth about what works here without a manufacturer script in the way.

Why Naples Residents Choose Us for Cambria Service

Cambria is a premium quartz line, and Naples is a premium market. The two should fit perfectly, but they only do when the installer understands what Naples does to stone. Tom Barrett grew up watching crews pour foundations in the San Fernando Valley, learned the trade at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College starting with framing, and has spent decades building and remodeling homes. He founded Barrett & Sons in 1998, and since then we’ve handled more Cambria installs in coastal Florida conditions than most shops see in a career.

We carry premium brands across every trade, and for countertops that means genuine Cambria slabs, not mystery quartz off a van. When a Naples homeowner calls us about a cracked cooktop cutout or ghost rings from corroded brackets, we know what we’re looking at before we walk in the door. Our crews include Tom’s sons and their teams, background-checked and uniformed on every visit. The person who templates your island is the same person who’ll answer when you call about it later.

And if something’s not right, we fix it. The 90-Day Done Right Promise is written on every contract. One call brings Tom back.

Common Cambria Construction Problems We Solve in Naples

  • Hairline cracks at cooktop cutouts and undermount sink rims. Ground-level kitchens on slab-on-grade, especially near brackish canal water, see differential settling from hydrostatic pressure. The slab moves unevenly, and the quartz cracks at its weakest points: the narrow strips between the cooktop opening and the front edge, or around sink rims. We see this constantly in ZIP codes 34102 and 34103.
  • Rust stains bleeding through from stainless steel brackets. Salt air from Naples canals and the Gulf corrodes sink mounting brackets and support legs under overhangs. The rust transfers into the quartz underside and shows up as ghost rings on the surface. Inland contractors don’t spec marine-grade hardware. We do.
  • Foggy polycarbonate laminate on island ends. During rebuilds, countertops often go in before HVAC is commissioned. Weeks of high-humidity exposure leaves some Cambria island ends with a fogged laminate layer. We catch it, and we replace the affected section rather than letting it cure into a permanent haze.
  • Chipped polished eased edges on waterfall island fronts. The post-Ian rebuild boom means busy job sites with trim carpenters and tile setters working in sequence. Tools hit island fronts before final protection goes on. We template with a 1/8-inch wall gap and flexible joints to absorb job-site movement, and we repair chips by replacing the affected slab section when the damage crosses a seam.
  • Elevation certificate red-tags on finished kitchens. Since Ian, inspectors in Old Naples and Port Royal can red-tag a completed luxury kitchen if the as-built floor height doesn’t match the windborne-debris zone reassessment. We front-load that documentation before we template a single overhang.

Cambria Service in Naples: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Naples is simultaneously Florida’s wealthiest residential market and a post-Hurricane Ian reconstruction zone. The rebuild wave is concentrated in Old Naples (34102) and Port Royal (34103), where 1950s to 1970s CBS cottages built at or near grade took severe storm-surge damage in 2022 and are now being torn down and replaced with elevated, custom-built homes in the $2M to $10M-plus range. That creates something you won’t find 20 miles east in Everglades City: Collier County’s post-Ian permit surge means any Cambria kitchen in those ZIP codes now requires an elevation certificate and third-party wind-load calculations before a countertop overhang can be templated. An inspector can red-tag an otherwise finished luxury kitchen or bathroom remodeling project if the floor height doesn’t match the reassessment. That documentation step has become the hidden gatekeeper for Cambria installs in Old Naples and Port Royal. We handle it before it becomes your problem.

Our crew templated a waterfall island in Brittanicca for a teardown-rebuild on Broad Avenue in Old Naples and found the new slab had settled 3/8 inch across the cooktop run, leaving a step at the seam. We re-shimmed the cabinets on a self-leveling grout bed and fabricated the quartz with a 1/8-inch wall gap and a flexible silicone joint to absorb future movement. Four months later the owner called us back to match the same dyelot for a bar top in Sutherland, no cracks, no ghosting, no rusted brackets.

Cambria Models & Products We Service in Naples

We work with Cambria quartz and granite countertops, kitchen remodeling in Naples, and full cabinets-and-countertops packages. The collections we see most in Naples are Brittanicca, Torquay, Sutherland, and Ironsbridge. Brittanicca’s bold veining is a favorite in Port Royal spec homes. Torquay and Sutherland lean more understated, which suits Pelican Bay condos and North Naples golf communities.

On parts and repairs, we use only genuine Cambria slabs for patches, seams, and replacement pieces. Cambria’s pattern registration and finish can’t be matched by aftermarket quartz without visible joints. We never patch a primary-surface chip with epoxy-only fill. If damage crosses a seam or exceeds a dime-size chip, we replace the affected slab section. On non-load-bearing edges, we’ll do a color-matched structural epoxy repair when a client wants the shorter timeline. We stock common slab remnants locally for faster Naples turnaround on small repairs.
